Unlike their Aztec neighbours to the far south, horses did not inspire terror in the Apachean people. After defeating several units of enemy horsemen, the ingenious Apachean tribes have taught themselves to ride captured horses and form units of mounted archers who can ride swift across the plains to rain down arrows on their often surprised enemies.
