What is Rally Point?
Rally Point is a series of community videos brought to you by the Total War team. Hosted by the community team, Craig and Will, they bring you the latest news, updates and behind the scenes interviews straight from the team making the Total War series.
All filming for Rally Point takes place in The Creative Assembly's Horsham studio, where the development of all new games in the Total War series takes place.
Shows usually feature around a particular topic or theme. Previous topics have included:
- Rome II community questions
- Motion capture
- The Creative Assembly's map editor
- Napoleon: Total War
- New Rome II screenshots
- Total War Battles: SHOGUN
- The Rome II trombone
Usually, each show will bring with it some new information about the Total War series, either in the form of behind-the-scenes interviews or reflections on previous games.
The show is often first to break interviews or features on upcoming, unannounced content, such as seen in the "Rally Point Rome II community questions" episode, in which Jack Lusted, Unit Design Lead, answered the most requested community questions.
The show is focused around community interaction, so fans are invited to help plan out episodes and suggest content for the show.
